AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site. Assist with access control, visitor management, and monitoring of security-related systems in accordance with site procedures. Document observations, incidents, and activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least one year of security-related experience. Must meet hospital vaccine requirements. Must be able to work in and around a hospital morgue. Must be able to restrain individuals as needed. Have at least two years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
