Job Description

Securitas seeks a professional Security Officer to protect SIG Sauer's people, property, and assets. In this on-site role, you will perform patrols, manage access control, monitor security systems, and respond to alarms and incidents with a calm, service-focused approach. You will complete clear incident reports, enforce site policies, and support safety procedures while delivering courteous assistance to employees and visitors. Securitas provides structured training, certification support, and advancement pathways, allowing you to build a security career while contributing to a mission-driven, safety-focused environment. Responsibilities Control access to SIG Sauer facilities, verifying credentials and managing visitor check-in and badging Conduct interior and exterior patrols to deter theft, vandalism, and safety hazards Monitor security systems, CCTV, and alarms, responding promptly to irregularities Respond to incidents, emergencies, and alarms following established post orders and protocols Write accurate, timely incident and daily activity reports Provide professional, courteous assistance to employees, visitors, and contractors Enforce site security policies, procedures, and safety rules Collaborate with client and Securitas supervisors to address security concerns and improvements Required Skills Access control Security patrol procedures Incident reporting Surveillance monitoring (CCTV) Emergency response protocols Two-way radio communication De-escalation techniques Basic report writing Visitor and badge management Alarm response
