The hiring process begins with finding and recruiting applicants to interview. The position focuses on actively seeking out new applicants through a variety of recruiting methods such as online job postings, cold calls, job fairs, off-site visits, etc. The position suited to someone who is a self-starter and has new, innovative ideas to find team members. This is a seasonal position from September 1 to early November.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Possess a thorough knowledge of department positions' basic requirements and job duties; Find and recruit new applicants to fill all staffing needs within the department; Receive and review applications for security officers, EMTs, turnstile security agents, event security officers, and parking lot attendants; Conduct a phone screening with all potential applicants and schedule in person interviews with qualified persons; Conduct interviews with potential team members and give input on hiring to the Security & EMS Manager or their designee; Attend paperwork appointments and issue uniforms to all newly hired team members; Create and keep accurate department personnel files and folders for all team members; Conduct a daily payroll inspection and report any issues; Create a weekly schedule for all security officers, turnstiles security agents, event security officers, and parking lot attendants accounting for expected crowd conditions. Submit to assistant manager for approval; Submit a weekly report to the Security & EMS Manager or their designee regarding positional staffing needs, interviews conducted, and any other pertinent information; Be familiar with, understand, and comply with team member expectations, departmental SOP's, and General Orders; Any other tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
Experience in personnel management or recruiting/hiring roles is a plus. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
