The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our students, staff, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to manage conflicts effectively, and a proactive approach to loss prevention. The Security Guard will monitor premises through surveillance systems and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action. Conduct regular inspections of facilities, ensuring all security measures are in place. Utilize CCTV and other surveillance equipment to monitor activities within the premises. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and property damage. Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients, employees, and visitors. Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts. Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to address security concerns or incidents. Maintain knowledge of emergency procedures, including first aid and CPR protocols. Requirements Previous experience in security or law enforcement Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is a plus. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential risks. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
