Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Unarmed Security Guard to join our team at a premier sports betting facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. Duties Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment. Ensure compliance with policies regarding age verification, betting guideline, and other facility rules. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, utilizing conflict management skills as necessary. Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, grounds, and security equipment. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious activities and reporting them accordingly. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to address security concerns. Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts. Experience Previous experience in security, customer service, or related fields preferred, but not required. Familiarity with surveillance systems and loss prevention techniques is advantageous. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
