Weekends Position Overview:

IronRock Security is seeking a reliable and experienced Armed Security Officer with 3+ years of armed security experience to oversee access control at higher education center in Lakewood, NJ. This role requires a strong presence, excellent communication skills, and prior experience with access control . The guard will help ensure site coverage, support fellow officers, and maintain a safe environment for staff and students.

Responsibilities:

Manage and monitor access control points Conduct regular patrols of the residential property Write clear incident and daily activity reports Support scheduling coordination and communicate staffing needs Maintain a professional and customer-friendly presence Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies appropriately

Requirements:

Previous Armed security experience required 3+ years of law enforcement and/or armed security experience Access control experience required Armed SORA LicenseCCW or RPO Valid driver's license (required for periodic mobile patrols) Strong communication and report-writing skills Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
