Full-time and Part-timeSecurity Officer Positions Available We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors in a distribution center environment. This role requires a proactive individual with strong conflict management skills and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies. The Security Officer will monitor premises, conduct regular patrols, manage truck gate operations and enforce safety protocols. Responsibilities Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises. Manage and track flow of truck traffic and yard controls. Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter theft, vandalism, and other criminal activity. Conduct compliance audits. Document incidents and prepare detailed reports on any security breaches or unusual occurrences. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure safety and security. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage. Manage conflicts effectively, employing de-escalation techniques when needed. Qualifications Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred. Strong data entry and computer skills. First aid and CPR certification is highly desirable. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Must possess a valid security license where applicable.
