Job Description

Position summary: Lead Security Technician is an experienced technician that can lead a team of installers to ensure that the project is completed according to project specs, as well as serve as the go-to installer and service technician. The position interfaces with Operation team members, engineers, and customers to ensure goals and tasks are completed to customer satisfaction. Lead Security Technician is responsible for installing, servicing and troubleshooting access control, CCTV and intrusion devices and cabling. Termination of head end equipment and ensuring all quality standards are being met. To be successful in this role you need to understand relay logic, basic network protocol, be sufficient with time and task management of both self and others.

  • Ability to handle stressful situations (time constraints etc.)
  • Basic math and communication skills
  • Competent with hand and power tools
  • Can identify cable and tools
  • Aware of personal safety requirements
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints and floor plans
  • Able to install Door strikes and mag locks
  • Able to mentor other less experienced technicians
  • Understanding of frequencies
  • Osha 30
  • Take pride in their work product
  • Able to walk and carry up to 50lbs unassisted
  • Able to work at heights above 10ft

$24.00 - $27.00 per hour
