Job Description

Pay:
TBD Job description: We are seeking a reliable, armed security guard for a synagogue during the Jewish High Holidays. The guard must be familiar with Jewish religion and synagogue services (davening).
Responsibilities:
Provide armed security and maintain a safe environment Monitor the synagogue and surrounding area Remain alert and respond appropriately to any security concerns Follow site instructions and maintain a professional presence Stay on site until the event ends if needed
Requirements:
Valid NJ SORA Armed Guard License Knowledge of Jewish religion and synagogue services preferred Class A - Formal uniform
Dates & Shift:
September 11, 12 & 21, 2026 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM each day Possible additional hours if needed
