ARMED SCHOOL SECURITY OFFICER

Pay based on qualifications and documented experience Full-Time / Part-Time / School-Year Assignments Hinton Investigations Inc. is seeking highly experienced Armed School Security Officers for New Jersey school assignments. This is a specialized school-security position. Candidates with retired law-enforcement backgrounds, substantial school-security experience, and verifiable training histories are strongly encouraged to apply. Required/Preferred Qualifications

• Current NJ Armed SORA certification
• Firearm credentials required for the assignment
• Valid NJ Permit to Carry/RPO credentials
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• Successful criminal-history/background screening
• Ability to satisfy applicable drug/alcohol and psychological screening requirements
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification
• Preferred Previous law-enforcement, armed-security or school-security experience strongly preferred
• Training in de-escalation, emergency response, use of force, ethics/professional conduct, arrest/detention authority and search-and-seizure principles
• Knowledge of fire safety, emergency procedures and access-control systems
• Computer proficiency, including email, electronic reporting, CCTV and access-control systems
• Experience participating in school emergency/security drills preferred

DOCUMENTED TRAINING HISTORY HIGHLY DESIRED

Applicants who can provide a minimum four-year documented training history will receive priority consideration.

Firearms qualification/range records Tactical training Annual in-service training De-escalation/use-of-force training School emergency drill participation Active-shooter/emergency-response training CPR/AED/First Aid Access-control/CCTV training School-security training certificates Training academy or law-enforcement records Signed training rosters and qualification records.
