Job Overview This is a retail type setting. Retail security experience preferred. Must have current SORA & reliable transportation We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, effective communication skills, and the ability to respond swiftly to emergencies. The Security Officer will monitor premises visually, enforce policies, and ensure safety. Shifts hours for current (1) week job are 3:00pm to 11:30pm. This is a retail type location.

!!!!! Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activities. Respond promptly incidents, providing first aid when necessary. Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. Conduct regular inspections of the premises, ensuring that all security measures are in place. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required and assist in investigations as needed. Document incidents and prepare reports for management review. Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients, employees, and visitors. Requirements

MUST HAVE CURRENT SORA CARD!

!!!!!! High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in security management is a plus. Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred. Experience in conflict management and loss prevention strategies is highly desirable. Familiarity with surveillance technology including CCTV systems is valuable however not required Background in law enforcement or military service is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
