Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Mobile Response Driver in Summit, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial office buildings, common areas, parking facilities, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts. Assist with maintaining an orderly professional environment by providing directions, answering questions, and reporting maintenance or security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
