THE ROLE
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Monitors assigned posts and surrounding areas to ensure the safety and security of the facility, employees, guests, clients, and visitors. Responds immediately and appropriately to emergencies, disturbances, medical incidents, alarms, and other situations requiring Public Safety involvement. Assists with crowd management, access control, line control, and enforcement of facility rules, policies, and procedures during events and daily operations. Conducts routine interior and exterior property patrols and identifies potential safety, security, or maintenance concerns. Locks and unlocks facility doors, gates, offices, and operational areas as required by event and building schedules Maintains awareness of emergency exits, evacuation procedures, fire alarm systems, and facility safety protocols. Provides customer service and general assistance to guests, including directions, event information, and support with facility-related questions. Communicates effectively via two-way radio, telephone, and in-person interaction with staff, management, emergency responders, and the public. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with energy and enthusiasm. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience High School diploma or equivalent preferred. 1 year of public safety or security experience, preferably in a similar environment. Customer service background or equivalent work experience. Must be able to speak, read, and write in English Skills and Abilities Good communication, leadership and organizational skills. Ability to work with the public and professionally handle confrontational situations. Ability to work under limited supervision. Ability to work flexible and irregular hours, including weekends and nights. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have some knowledge of computers and electronics. Must have professional attitude and appearance Ability to work flexible hours including daytime, evening, weekends and holidays, as needed
COMPENSATION
This position offers an hourly wage of $16.55 WORKING
