Security Technician We are seeking experienced Security Technicians with 3-5 years of experience supporting commercial and industrial security systems throughout North and Northeast New Jersey. Key Responsibilities Install, program, service, and troubleshoot Access Control Systems Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Intrusion Detection Systems Install, configure, and service CCTV and IP Video Surveillance Systems Install electronic door hardware, locking systems, and related devices Run, terminate, label, test, and certify low-voltage cabling Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Perform system testing, commissioning, and customer training Required Qualifications 3-5 years of experience installing and servicing electronic security systems Strong hands-on experience with Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and Video Surveillance Systems Experience working with IP-based security platforms and network-connected devices Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Excellent customer service and communication skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to travel throughout the North/Northeast New Jersey area Preferred Qualifications OSHA 30 Certification BICSI Certification Manufacturer certifications in access control, intrusion, or video surveillance systems Experience supporting commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, or enterprise security environments Contact Jennifer Nickless jennifer.nickless@wilsonhr.com (813) 565-3609
