Duties Help As a Supervisory Security Specialist (Secondary), you will: Lead and oversee security programs th protect nuclear merials, sensitive informion, personnel, facilities, and critical assets from security thres. Supervise staff, provide technical guidance, set priorities, evalue performance, and ensure security activities meet established requirements. Lead vulnerability and risk assessments, develop and maintain site security plans, identify security weaknesses, and recommend corrective actions. Develop and evalue protective response plans, security exercises, performance tests, policies, procedures, and training to strengthen security readiness. Advise senior leaders on security risks and improvements, and lead inspections and evaluions to assess the effectiveness of security programs and protective measures. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS A
qualified applicant must have one full year of specialized experience equivalent in responsibility and scope to the

pay band or GS-12 level as described in the vacancy announcement under specialized experience requirements. Must have 3 years previous experience in a primary position as a Nuclear Merials Courier.
