Job Overview We are seeking a vigilant and energetic Security Guard for the Night Shift to uphold the safety and security of our facilities. In this role, you will monitor premises through surveillance systems, perform patrols, manage access control, and respond swiftly to emergencies. Your proactive approach will help prevent incidents, ensure compliance with security protocols, and support a safe working environment during overnight hours. Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including building interiors, perimeters, and yard areas to identify potential security risks. Monitor CCTV surveillance systems continuously to detect suspicious activity or security breaches. Manage access control by verifying identities and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. Respond promptly to alarms or emergency situations following established procedures. Write detailed incident reports documenting any security concerns or incidents encountered during shifts. Perform background checks on visitors or contractors as required to ensure safety compliance. Assist in emergency response procedures such as first aid, CPR, AED operation, or fire safety protocols when necessary. Qualifications Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred. Knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, access control systems, and incident report writing. Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and Taser use is highly desirable. Ability to perform manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting when required for equipment or incident management. Strong conflict management and de-escalation skills with a focus on customer service and professionalism. Familiarity with emergency response procedures and compliance with security regulations. Physical fitness to stand, walk extensively, and perform patrols during night hours.
