Monitor assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and maintain a safe environment.

Conduct routine patrols on foot or by vehicle, as required.

Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, incidents, and policy violations.

Verify access to restricted areas and assist with entry procedures when needed.

Respond to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies according to established procedures.

Complete accurate incident reports and maintain daily logs.

Provide courteous assistance to employees, visitors, and vendors.

Work closely with supervisors, site leadership, and emergency personnel when necessary.

Follow all company policies, post orders, and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous security, safety, customer service, or related experience is an asset.

Ability to remain alert, professional, and composed during routine and high-pressure situations.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Basic report-writing and recordkeeping skills.

Ability to walk, stand, and perform patrol duties for extended periods, as required by the site.

Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on operational needs.
