As a Security Officer Access Control in Albuquerque, NM , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer supporting a dynamic media and technology location. You will help manage visitor entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service and clear communication. Maintain a visible presence, respond to security-related concerns, and help create a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a people-first approach.

PM What You'll Do:
Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, talent, vendors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities. Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and contractor documentation in accordance with established site procedures. Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and access-related logs; issue and collect access credentials as authorized. Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, lobby areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
