Job Description
Clear Creek Tahoe is a private golf community offering over 375 incomparable homes and homesites, an 18-hole nationally acclaimed Coore and Crenshaw golf course, and a collection of family friendly amenities. This begins with a beautiful clubhouse, our Twin Pines Lake and Ski House, several overnight guest cottages, a pro shop, and Summit Camp for all the outdoor fun our members and guests could want (swimming pool, hot tub, games, tennis, and pickle ball). Clear Creek's rich history sits on 1576 acres of expansive and pristine land just southeast of Lake Tahoe on the Nevada side. Summary/Objective The Graveyard Security Officer at Clear Creek Tahoe is responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for employees, members, guests, and authorized visitors. The ideal candidate is empathetic, approachable, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service in every interaction. This role is essential to preserving the safety, security, and peace of mind of the community. Key responsibilities include monitoring entry and exit points, patrolling the property, enforcing community rules, responding to emergencies, and assisting residents and visitors with professionalism. The Security Officer must also demonstrate discretion, confidentiality, and a strong commitment to both security and hospitality. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 1) Clear Creek Tahoe GateHouse Functions
- Greet, determine authorization for, then track and monitor all visitors.
- Complete daily activity logs.
- Verify credentials, identification, and authorization prior to granting access.
- Secure/maintain access via keys to all CCT common buildings.
- Accept package deliveries for CCT employees and residents.
- Issue visitor or contractor passes and maintain accurate entry logs.
- Other duties as assigned. 2) Clear Creek Tahoe Patrolling & Surveillance
- Respond to emergencies on property and assist 1st Responders as directed.
- Patrol all roads within CCT property using CCT marked vehicle.
- Conduct regular vehicle and foot patrols of the property, including common areas, streets, amenities, and perimeter.
- Check gates, doors, windows, and fencing for security or safety issues. 3) Monitor surveillance cameras and report suspicious activities
- Control access to all CCT buildings daily, morning and night.
- Check and secure all exterior gates, and emergency access gates.
- Traffic speed, stop, and route enforcement.
- Write incident reports as needed.
- Pick up visible trash and debris along common areas of property.
- Other duties as assigned. 4) Safety & Incident Response
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, accidents, or medical emergencies.
- Report and document incidents in detailed written logs and incident reports.
- Contact emergency services when required and assist until help arrives. 5) Enforcement & Compliance
- Enforce community rules, regulations, and parking policies consistently and fairly.
- Address violations or concerns in a professional, non-confrontational manner.
- Issue Citations
- Support HOA or community management in maintaining order. 6) Customer Service
- Provide directions, information, and assistance to residents and guests.
- Always represent the community with professionalism, courtesy, and integrity. 7) General Duties
- Perform scheduled lockups, equipment checks, and safety inspections.
- Maintain accurate shift logs, incident reports, and communication records.
- Report maintenance or safety hazards to management.
- Other duties as assigned.
