09/17/2026 We are currently hiring for two Security Officer positions at an educational campus. These roles are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment during overnight hours through patrols, monitoring, and emergency response. Available Positions We are currently hiring a Security Officer for a schedule of Sunday through Tuesday from (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM), totaling 24 hours per week. We are also hiring a Security Officer for a schedule of Wednesday through Saturday from (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM), totaling 32 hours per week. The pay rate for both positions is $20.00 an hour. What You'll Do
  • Conduct regular patrols of dormitory buildings to ensure quiet hours are being observed.
  • Patrol the main school building to ensure all areas are secure and unoccupied after hours.
  • Check doors and access points to verify buildings remain properly secured.
  • Respond to fire alarms and assist with building evacuations when necessary.
  • Maintain a visible security presence throughout the property.
  • Position vehicle strategically to monitor dormitory and school building activity.
  • Observe and report suspicious, unsafe, or unusual activity.
  • Complete accurate daily activity logs and incident reports.
  • Communicate effectively with site staff and emergency responders as needed. What We're Looking For
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remain alert during overnight hours.
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional.
  • Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately during emergencies.
  • Comfortable performing regular vehicle and foot patrols.
  • Valid driver's license and a personal vehicle.
