Security Observation Specialist

Security Observation Specialist Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly observant and reliable Security Observation Specialist to maintain the safety and integrity of a specific access point. This is a non-confrontational, stationary post focused on surveillance and reporting. The primary responsibility is to monitor a designated gate, watch for any unauthorized movements or openings, and report incidents immediately. This is an independent role that requires exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain a constant and vigilant watch over a designated gate and its surrounding area.

• Observe and report any unauthorized vehicles, individuals, or suspicious activity.
• Document all observations and incidents in a timely and accurate log.
• Serve as the primary "eyes and ears" for the property, escalating any security breaches or concerns according to protocol.
• Remain alert and focused throughout the entirety of the assigned shift.
• Be able to lift and move up to 15 pounds (e.

g., a small barrier, signage, or personal equipment).

What This Position Is NOT:

• This is a non-confrontational role. You will not be required to perform any physical restraining, make physical contact with any individual, or engage in altercations.
• This is not a patrol or mobile security position.

Your duties will be centered at a fixed observation post.

Compensation Details:

$18- $19 per hour.

Payment Schedule:

Payment will be processed two (2) weeks following the completion of each event.

Requirements:

• High level of attention to detail and strong observational skills.
• NYC F04 (certificate of Fitness) is required
• Must have D security license.
• Excellent communication skills for clear and concise reporting.
• Punctuality and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Must be able to lift or move 15 pounds.
• Must have a smartphone

Pay:

$18.00 - $19.00 per hour
