The Center for Discovery is currently seeking a Security Officer. The Security Officer will provide agency-wide safety and security coverage by enforcing employee/visitor compliance with agency vehicle traffic policies. This position will act as a liaison with local law enforcement and security agencies, responds to agency related emergencies, monitors communication network and conducts safety and security inspections. Position requires flexibility to attend special events. Must be able to work an extremely flexible schedule to include weekends, nights, and holidays. Must have open availability during initial training period which can last up to six (6) Months. Must be at least 21, have a high school diploma/GED, a NYS Driver license in good standing and a NYS Security License. Experience preferred
