As an Unarmed Security Officer at a shelter location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and service providers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Monitor entrances, common areas, and the surrounding property; verify visitor access in accordance with site policies and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the shelter location, including interior common areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Maintain a professional presence, communicate respectfully with individuals from diverse backgrounds, and report maintenance hazards, policy violations, and unusual activity to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
