Security Guard - Gated Community (Access Control)

Full-Time, Part-Time, Per-Diem PSA Security of Patchogue, NY is hiring security professionals for a gated community access control position. We provide safety and security services for private communities, ensuring only approved visitors gain entry.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and control access to a private, gated community Verify visitor approvals with homeowners before granting entry Maintain detailed access logs and write incident reports Provide excellent customer service while enforcing community policies Conduct routine security checks as needed

Qualifications:

New York State Security License (or ability to obtain one) Strong communication and report-writing skills Professional appearance and demeanor Reliable transportation to and from work Ability to stand for extended periods Available to work weekends (depending on location) Valid NYS Driver's License (clean driving record preferred)
