PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Monitor access points at a logistics and distribution location; verify identification, credentials, and visitor or driver authorization before permitting entry or directing individuals to designated areas. Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records in accordance with site-specific procedures; report discrepancies or unauthorized access attempts to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking locations, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
