Job Description
Job description: We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding security protocols. Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security. Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to detect and deter suspicious activities. Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing first aid or CPR as necessary. Conduct thorough inspections of premises to identify potential security risks or breaches. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required and assist in investigations related to incidents on-site. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and property damage. Manage conflicts effectively through de-escalation techniques and conflict resolution skills. Prepare detailed reports of incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts. Requirements Must be 18 years or older Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred. Certification in surveillance/ security operations or loss prevention is a plus. Knowledge of first aid and CPR techniques; certification is highly desirable. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
