Security Officer (Per Diem)
Job Description
New York State Security Guard Licease Required The schedule for this Per Diem Position is based on the needs of the client and hours will vary depending on the needs of the client.
Hours/Shifts include:
Monday toFriday:
6:00 AM- 10:00 AM 6:00 AM
- 2:00 PM 8:00 AM
- 4:00 PM 2:00 PM
- 10:00 PM Saturday to
Sunday:
10:00 AM- 6:00
PM Duties:
- Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment
- Protect property and assets by maintaining a visible presence
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or individuals in the property
- Conduct security checks and inspections according to established procedures
- Write detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during assigned shifts
- Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements:
- NYS Security Guard Licease required
- Proven work experience as a Security Officer or relevant position
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Familiarity with CCTV surveillance systems
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
- Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Conflict management skills to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy

Military or law enforcement background is a plusJob Type:

$19.00- $21.
