$17 - $19 per hour Position Summary We are seeking a vigilant and reliable Security Officer to maintain safety and security in Rochester, NY. This role involves monitoring premises, enforcing policies, and responding ly to any security incidents to ensure a safe environment for all occupants. Responsibilities Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards Monitor surveillance equipment and conduct regular checks of buildings and grounds Enforce company policies and procedures, including access control Respond quickly and appropriately to alarms, emergencies, or incidents Report and document any security breaches, incidents, or maintenance issues Provide assistance to employees, visitors, and emergency services as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience in security or law enforcement preferred but not required Ability to remain alert and attentive during shifts Good communication and observation skills Must meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements for security personnel
