Job Summary We are seeking dependable, professional, and customer-service-oriented Security Officers for hospitality and gaming property in Salamanca, New York . The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, employees, and company property. This position requires strong observation and communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to remain professional and composed while responding to emergencies, disputes, and other security-related situations. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced public environment and understands that excellent guest service is an important part of professional security. Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, hospitality, or customer service is preferred. Key Responsibilities Help ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, company property, and designated operational areas. Patrol assigned areas and maintain continuous observation for safety concerns, suspicious activity, policy violations, and other security issues. Work assigned security posts and complete all required duties in accordance with company policies and procedures. Assist guests and employees in a courteous, professional, and service-oriented manner. Respond appropriately to medical emergencies, guest disputes, conflicts, complaints, and other critical situations. Use verbal communication and de-escalation techniques to help resolve difficult or sensitive situations. Immediately report incidents, violations, suspicious activity, safety concerns, and other significant events to security supervision. Complete accurate incident reports and other required security documentation. Perform security-related escorts, asset movements, access-control functions, verification procedures, and other assigned duties. Support authorized internal and external investigations when required. Protect confidential and sensitive company, guest, employee, and security information. Follow applicable security, information-security, compliance, and operational procedures. Maintain a professional working relationship with guests, coworkers, supervisors, and management. Attend required meetings and successfully complete assigned security and safety training. Successfully complete CPR/First Aid training and other required training programs. Perform additional security duties as assigned based on operational needs. QualificationsRequired Must be 18 years of age or older . High school diploma or equivalent. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Good observation skills and attention to detail. Ability to write clear and accurate reports. Ability to communicate professionally with guests, employees, and management. Ability to handle conflicts and difficult situations diplomatically and tactfully. Comfortable using computers and learning security-related software, including incident-reporting and dispatch systems. Basic ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment requiring sustained attention and concentration. Ability to successfully complete required company training. Preferred Previous security experience. Law enforcement or military experience. Hospitality, casino, entertainment, or similar high-volume venue experience. Previous customer/guest service experience. Experience with incident reporting, dispatch, access control, patrol, or emergency response. Current CPR/First Aid certification is an asset; training may be required after hire. Physical & Work Requirements Candidates must be able to perform the essential duties of the position, with reasonable accommodation where applicable. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and patrol assigned areas. Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes loud environment. Ability to remain composed and professional under pressure. Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts based on a 24-hour operation. Position may involve working in areas where smoking is permitted. Role requires appropriate vision and situational awareness to safely perform security responsibilities. Schedule Our Client operates 24 hours a day.

Candidates should have flexibility to work afternoon, overnight, weekend and holiday shifts. Compensation & Sign-On Bonus Starting rate: $17.50/hour The listed rate is the starting rate. The actual rate offered may be higher depending on the candidate's relevant experience, education and qualifications. $1,500 Sign-On Bonus Eligible Security Ambassadors can receive: $500 after 90 days $500 after 180 days $500 after one year of employment Eligibility and payment are subject to applicable company terms and requirements.
