Position Overview The Armed Security Supervisor serves as the primary operational leader and quality assurance authority for security locations across Saratoga County. This individual coordinates agent schedules, evaluates site safety postures, manages personnel field performance, and bridges the gap between client partners and senior agency leadership. The supervisor provides an active, armed field presence capable of escalating tactical response or de-escalating personnel issues with equal efficacy

Key Responsibilities Personnel & Shift Leadership:

Oversee the daily assignments, posts, and productivity of Armed Security Agents across a flexible, 24/7 calendar.

Quality Assurance & Audits:

Review, edit, and approve all daily logs and incident reports generated by field agents to verify legal compliance and precise writing standards.

Training & Compliance Tracking:

Conduct on-site inspections of uniforms, gear, weapon vaults, and licensing documentation to maintain alignment with the NYS Department of State regulations.

Physical Security Surveys:

Analyze local threat variables, evaluate route safety, audit CCTV positioning, and recommend structural updates to post orders.

Crisis Coordination:

Take direct command of high-risk security incidents or breaches, coordinating directly with the Saratoga County Sheriff's Department or local municipal police forces.

Disciplinary & Performance Actions:

Authorize commendations or initiate disciplinary interventions, providing performance reviews for field staff.

Qualifications & Requirements Experience:

Proven field leadership experience coupled with a comprehensive background in Law Enforcement (municipal, state, or federal) and/or Military Service.

Mobility:

Must possess a valid Driver's License to perform mobile site spot-checks across the county.

Communication Skills:

Elite professional writing skills for constructing comprehensive management and disciplinary summaries.

Scheduling:

Complete schedule availability to handle supervisory responsibilities spanning variable shifts, nights, weekends, and rapid emergency response deployments. Licensing & Permits Active New York State Armed Guard License (or Active Law Enforcement status). Valid New York State (or NY City) Concealed Carry Permit . Pay:

$37.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
