Must be able to work weekends About the Position Professional Security Consultants (PSC) is currently accepting applications for Part-Time Security Officers at a high-profile retail destination in the Cleveland-area market. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, value teamwork, and take pride in delivering outstanding customer service while maintaining a strong security presence. Security Officers play a critical role in maintaining a safe, secure, and professional environment for guests, tenants, vendors, and staff. Key Objectives Provide a high-visibility security presence to deter criminal activity and disruptions Assist guests, enforce rules and regulations, and manage access control Maintain a professional environment through interaction with the public, emergency responders, law enforcement, asset management, vendors, and contractors Essential Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to) Enforce company policies, post orders, and client-specific instructions Maintain constant visibility to act as a deterrent Conduct detailed observations of people, property, and activity Write clear, accurate, and detailed incident reports Enforce venue rules and regulations consistently Control access for authorized individuals Prevent theft, vandalism, and other property damage Perform routine foot and vehicle patrols Operate mobile License Plate Reader (LPR) systems Monitor and operate CCTV, alarm systems, and dispatch operations Participate in a targeted Parental Guidance enforcement program Work routinely alongside on-site law enforcement partners and agencies Required Skills & Abilities Strong written communication skills, including proper spelling, grammar, and sentence structure Proficiency with basic computer software and reporting systems Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time-management abilities Ability to work independently or as part of a team Capability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods, indoors and outdoors Minimum Requirements Valid Ohio Class D Operator's License Minimum 18 years of age High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent Professional appearance Effective written and verbal communicator Courteous, flexible, and able to remain professional under pressure Availability to work various days and hours, including weekends Must remain free from criminal indictment Professional Security Consultants PISGS #201021001641
