Must have a valid drivers license Join the PSC Team Professional Security Consultants (PSC) is seeking professional, customer-focused Security Officers to join our team at The Mall at Fairfield Commons, one of the premier shopping destinations in the Dayton area. If you enjoy working with people, providing outstanding customer service, and helping create a safe and welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and employees, we'd like to hear from you. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible, professional security presence. Conduct routine foot patrols throughout the shopping center, parking areas, and common spaces. Monitor for suspicious activity, security concerns, safety hazards, and emergency situations. Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and requests for assistance. Coordinate with local law enforcement, fire, and EMS when necessary. Enforce property rules and regulations while maintaining positive interactions with guests and tenants. Complete Daily Activity Reports, incident reports, and other required documentation accurately and on time. Operate radios, mobile devices, and other security equipment. Assist visitors with directions, escorts, and general customer service needs. Perform additional duties as assigned by site leadership. Qualifications Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong observation skills and attention to detail. Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergency situations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods. Basic computer and report-writing skills. Ability to work days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. CPR and First Aid certification is a plus (training available if needed). Minimum Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age. High School Diploma or GED required. Valid Ohio driver's license or government-issued photo identification. Previous security or customer service experience is preferred but not required. Must present a professional appearance and maintain a positive attitude. Must be dependable, punctual, and team-oriented. Must successfully pass a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening. Must remain free from illegal drug use. Must embody PSC's core values and represent the company with integrity, professionalism, and respect.
