Position Overview Professional Security Consultants (PSC) is seeking an experienced, dependable, and customer-focused Security Supervisor to join our team at The Mall at Fairfield Commons in Beavercreek, Ohio. This position is ideal for a security professional who leads by example, communicates effectively, and takes pride in maintaining a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, employees, and visitors. The Security Supervisor will oversee daily shift operations, support Security Officers, ensure required duties are completed, and serve as a key point of contact for property management and PSC leadership. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Supervise, coach, and support Security Officers during assigned shifts. Ensure officers maintain a professional appearance and provide exceptional customer service. Conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols throughout the shopping center, parking areas, and common spaces. Ensure all required patrols, post assignments, reports, and daily tasks are completed accurately and on time. Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, alarms, tenant concerns, and requests for assistance. Coordinate with police, fire, EMS, and property management when necessary. Review Daily Activity Reports, incident reports, and other documentation for accuracy and completeness. Communicate significant incidents and operational concerns to PSC management. Assist with shift coverage, scheduling needs, officer training, and onboarding. Conduct post inspections and performance observations. Enforce property rules, post orders, and PSC policies professionally and consistently. Operate radios, mobile devices, surveillance equipment, and other security-related technology. Perform additional supervisory and operational duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous security experience required. Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills. Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities. Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergencies. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while effectively leading a team. Ability to stand, walk, patrol, and climb stairs for extended periods. Basic computer proficiency and strong report-writing skills. Ability to work mornings, afternoons, overnights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. CPR and First Aid certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification. Minimum Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age. High School Diploma or GED required. Must possess a valid driver's license or government-issued photo identification. Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. Must be dependable, punctual, organized, and customer-service driven. Must successfully pass a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening. Must remain free from illegal drug use. Must represent PSC with integrity, professionalism, accountability, and respect.
