As a Security Officer Full Time Badge Systems Operator in Brook Park, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. Monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage badge access, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Use computer or tablet systems to document activity and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and team members. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, issue and retrieve access badges, and maintain accurate visitor and access-related records. Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, lobby areas, restricted spaces, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity. Communicate professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding access-related concerns, incidents, and shift activities.
Minimum Requirements:
Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
