Unarmed Security Guard

Job Overview We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Unarmed Security Guard to uphold safety and security across our premises. This energetic role involves monitoring the property, ensuring a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. You will be the first line of defense in preventing unauthorized access, managing surveillance systems, and responding promptly to incidents. Your proactive approach will help maintain a safe, welcoming atmosphere while supporting loss prevention efforts and emergency preparedness. Duties Patrol designated areas regularly to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized activity Monitor CCTV systems and surveillance equipment to observe activity and identify potential security threats Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and employees before granting access to the premises Respond swiftly to alarms or suspicious activity, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary Conduct routine inspections of the facility to ensure safety protocols are followed and report any hazards or breaches Assist in conflict management by calmly addressing disputes or disturbances on-site Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for record-keeping and reporting purposes Qualifications Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and familiarity with loss prevention techniques Basic first aid and CPR certification to handle medical emergencies confidently Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure Ability to perform physical duties including standing, walking, and patrolling for extended periods Excellent observational skills and attention to detail in monitoring surroundings Valid certifications in security or related areas as required by local regulations Join us in creating a safe environment where everyone can thrive!
