AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying authorized access, and directing patients and visitors to appropriate locations. Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client. CPR certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
