Duties Conduct regular patrols of the premises using CCTV surveillance and physical inspections to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security threats Control access points with precision, performing background checks and verifying credentials for employees, visitors, and contractors Respond swiftly to incidents by writing detailed incident reports and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders as needed Operate access control systems and CCTV equipment to monitor activity and ensure compliance with security protocols Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary for security setups or emergency situations Execute emergency response procedures such as first aid, CPR, AED operation, and fire safety measures to protect individuals on-site Manage conflict de-escalation and conflict management techniques to resolve disputes peacefully while maintaining safety Skills Extensive experience with surveillance systems including CCTV monitoring and access control technology Knowledge of law enforcement practices, security regulations, and compliance standards Proficiency in performing background checks and conducting thorough security screenings Strong ability to handle firearms responsibly with proper firearm handling training and Taser certification preferred Skilled in incident report writing with attention to detail for accurate documentation of events Excellent customer service skills combined with conflict de-escalation techniques to interact professionally with the public Physical fitness for patrolling duties involving heavy lifting, long periods of standing or walking, and manual handling tasks Familiarity with emergency response procedures including first aid, CPR, AED operation, and fire safety protocols This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to make a tangible difference in safety and security.
