PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, contractors, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a utilities location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, operational areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions. Monitor access to assigned areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain required activity logs. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed. Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
