Requirements Role:
Security Engineers is seeking a Site Manager interested in building a career in the private security industry. The ideal candidate will demonstrate integrity, professionalism, accountability, and a strong work ethic while leading security operations in a team-oriented environment. This role is responsible for assigned security personnel, daily site operations, client coordination, staffing, training, documentation, and compliance with company and client procedures. Previous military, law enforcement, or at least three years of security experience with supervisory responsibility is preferred for priority consideration. Key Responsibilities Lead, supervise, schedule, and support all assigned security personnel. Remain on-site during scheduled hours and cover open positions during short staffing, emergency call-offs, or critical operational needs when necessary. Ensure employees understand and follow company policies, post instructions, client procedures, safety expectations, and site requirements. Manage schedules, staffing coverage, guard management software, timekeeping responsibilities, and related administrative records. Attend routine meetings with the client, supervisors, and subordinates; provide updates, reports, and follow-up as required. Maintain security post instructions, training documents, manuals, contact lists, call-in sheets, logs, equipment records, and other required documentation. Deliver or coordinate training for new hires and assigned personnel, ensuring employees are prepared to perform assigned duties. Conduct interviews, assist with hiring, and support onboarding, corrective action, performance documentation, attendance follow-up, and termination processes as directed. Review reports, logs, rounds, incident reports, statements, accident reports, service reports, compromised freight documentation, and related records for accuracy and completion. Ensure security and safety equipment, radios, software, hardware, vehicles, and operational supplies are available, functional, documented, and repaired or replenished as needed. Conduct spot checks, audits, vehicle inspection follow-up, equipment log reviews, radio and panic alarm checks, and other site compliance checks as required. Support truck gate operations, delivery passes, CTPAT-related responsibilities, client requests, associate photographs, parking violations, and operational issue resolution. Coordinate with outside agencies, emergency personnel, and incident command during emergencies or security events when required. Respond to panic alarms, emergencies, client concerns, emails, miscellaneous issues, and urgent operational needs in a timely and professional manner. Recommend improvements to procedures, training, equipment, documentation, and site operations. Perform other job-related duties and leadership instructions as assigned. Leadership Expectations The Site Manager is held to a high standard of professionalism and must consistently model sound judgment, confidentiality, policy compliance, customer service, accurate documentation, effective communication, and accountability for team performance. Required Qualifications 5+ years of security experience with supervisory responsibility is strongly preferred. Previous military, law enforcement, Team Leader, Supervisor, emergency response, or related leadership experience preferred. Current security officer license required. Must have no felony convictions and no misdemeanor convictions involving moral turpitude, as verified by fingerprint-based criminal background check. Must pass drug screening and meet all company and client eligibility requirements. High school diploma or equivalent required. Strong written and verbal communication, customer service, computer, and administrative skills required. Experience with WinTeam or guard management software preferred. Reliable telephone or other dependable means of communication required. Ability to maintain required site certifications, including AED, CPR, and First Aid, as applicable. Working Conditions Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, on-call availability, andafter-hours emergency support as needed. Stand or sit for at least one hour, walk one-half mile, climb 20 commercial facility stairs, and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
