An Armed Security Officer provides security for property at hospitals, hotels, warehouses or office buildings. Have a license to carry a weapon ranging from a club to a firearm. Monitors entrances and patrols buildings, watches for intruders or vandals; reports building maintenance problems; deals with customers or visitors that create a disturbance in the building.

Job Description
Defcon Protection specializes in providing armed on site and patrol services for residential & commercial properties. You will be paid the 1st and 15th of each month. We prefer applicants own a firearm and ballistic vest but not required. All uniform shirts provided. Most equipment can be provided. We are a proud employer of Veterans. This is a on site position. Primary duties include checking ID cards visually, and deterring criminal activity including but not limited to theft, robbery, loitering, and trespassing. ```
Requirements:
```- Must possess a valid armed security officer certificate/license.
- Previous experience in law enforcement, military, or security-related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
- Strong physical fitness and ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to resolve conflicts in a professional manner.
