A Security Officer provides security for property at hospitals, hotels, warehouses or office buildings. Monitors entrances and patrols buildings, watches for intruders or vandals; reports building maintenance problems; deals with customers or visitors that create a disturbance in the building.
Unarmed Roving Security Officer Position Overview Vantage Point Security LLC is currently seeking a dependable and professional Unarmed Security Officer to provide overnight roving security services throughout the Muskogee area. This position will primarily involve patrolling client properties, conducting routine security checks, identifying and reporting suspicious activity, and maintaining a visible security presence. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently during overnight hours. There may be an opportunity for a company provided take home patrol vehicle. Primary Responsibilities Conduct routine vehicle patrols of assigned client properties Maintain a visible security presence to deter theft, trespassing, vandalism, and other unauthorized activity Identify and promptly report suspicious persons, vehicles, or activity Complete accurate and detailed daily activity and incident reports Respond appropriately to alarms, security concerns, and other incidents in accordance with company and client procedures Contact law enforcement, emergency services, or company management when necessary Maintain professional communication with clients, employees, law enforcement, and members of the public Properly operate and maintain any company vehicle or equipment assigned to the position Minimum Qualifications Applicants must possess, at minimum, a current Oklahoma CLEET Unarmed Security Guard License .

Be legally eligible to work as a security officer in Oklahoma Possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Be able to work the overnight 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM shift Be dependable Possess good written and verbal communication skills Be capable of completing electronic activity and incident reports Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor Be able to successfully complete applicable pre-employment screening requirements Prior security, military, corrections, or law enforcement experience is preferred but not required. Compensation $25.00 per hour - Employees are paid by direct deposit every two weeks. A company patrol vehicle is provided for the position, with the possibility of take-home vehicle privileges based on assignment, driving eligibility, and company approval. We are looking for someone who can be trusted to work independently and represent our company professionally while protecting our clients' properties. Reliability, good judgment, attention to detail, and accurate reporting are essential for this position. Applicants who do not currently possess at least an Oklahoma CLEET Unarmed Security Guard License will not be considered.
