Norman, OK Job Details 3 hours ago Qualifications Employee relationship building High school diploma or GED Guard Card Full Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be trained in managing individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. Responsibilities Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring access points, investigating accidents. Submit complete and detailed reports as required, recording observations, information and occurrences throughout shift. Follow procedures specific to each location, building professional relationships with facility staff and visitors. Monitor visitors as required by facility, such as logging visits with a signature, searching bags for dangerous items/contraband, or asking them to walk through a metal detector. Remain aware of shift and facility assignments, understanding possible schedule changes are sometimes necessary. Enforce rules, regulations, and policies to ensure safety. High school diploma or equivalent required CLEET licensed required Strong conflict management skills CPR certification, First Aid, and self-defense training are advantageous Excellent surveillance and observation skills; familiarity with report writing Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally, making immediate decisions
