Job Description

Starting Rate:
$15.83 an hour Must have a valid non-expired drivers license.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Greet Customers with outstanding customer service & provide them with information about Casino Promotions, different areas within the Casino (Poker, Blackjack, OTB, bingo and the bars), other activities within the area and any other information that is given to you by your Supervisor for customer relations. Responsible for escorting the following; Money within the Casino and to the Bank, Customers, employees (when needed) and any Outside Vendor (when needed). Fill out Incident reports, and act as a safety and fire watch. Report any situation that may be deemed hazardous. Protect the gaming facility's machines and property from vandalism, watch and track suspicious persons and activities. Ensure Customer and Employee safety during any emergency situation (fire, tornado, bomb threat, robbery or hazardous chemical spill). Act as traffic control when needed. At all times officers must display a professional and friendly attitude and take pride in the job being performed. Work closely with every department in the Casino and the Tribal Police Department. Perform other related duties as assigned by a Supervisor, Director or member of Management. Good attendance is mandatory. Operate a motorized vehicle/ golf cart in a safe manner to transport customer and employees to/ from parking lots and casino Must ensure all passengers are seated in a correct manner before transport Must display a very positive attitude toward casino operations Must be able to perform fueling and service of the vehicle assigned This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee. EXPERIENCE
Police, military or prior security experience preferred. Background in Customer Service.
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS
Be able to obtain/maintain Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma gaming license. Valid Driver's License. (Must be 21 years of age to apply). Must complete all security training modules upon hire.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to maneuver in the casino (up and down stairs) for 7+ hours, visual acuity to observe and react to handle customer questions and complaints. Have a good vision, hearing and a good sense of smell. Visual acuity to observe and react in a high vehicle traffic environment. This position requires working in periods of hot and cold weather. Must be able to move and lift up to 50lbs. Must be able to bend, kneel, twist and stretch/reach of above head. Be able to assist customers in and out.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
We maintain an alcohol/drug-free workplace. Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment and perform in casino operations containing smoke and second hand smoke with high noise level and bright lights . Must be able and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed. Excellent written and Verbal skills. Basic computer skills are required. Must be able to be CPR certified. Have the ability to work in fast paced environment and be capable of problem solving. Outstanding people skills.
