Job Title:

Unarmed Retail Security Guard Schedule:

4-5 days per week, day, evening and overnight shifts available

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and observant Unarmed Security Guard to maintain a safe and secure environment. In this role, you will monitor premises, manage access points, and respond promptly to incidents, providing a visible presence that deters threats and promotes safety. This position requires strong attention to detail and sound judgment.

Key Responsibilities:

Arrive to work on time and ready to work Patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security Control access points Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies Write detailed incident reports Communicate effectively with team members, management, and emergency services when necessary

Qualifications:

Previous security experience preferred but not required if licensed with DPSST Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally

Requirements:

Must be dependable and punctual Oregon DPSST Unarmed Certification Must be able to work a consistent schedule (4-5 days/week) Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to stay alert and attentive during overnight shifts Ability to pass a background check (and drug screening, if applicable) Valid driver's license

$19.50 - $20.50 per hour
