Job Summary:

Security Officer Salary Range:

$16.50 To $21.00 Annually The Security Officer will provide professional Security for out Health Care facilities, staff, and clients. Observation will often be done by walking around the grounds or through the facilities and will include some review of video footage and use of computers. Documentation will also be completed with each shift.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• DPSST State Certification for Unarmed Professional or ability to complete DPSST certification including the background check
• Must be 21+ and possess a valid driver's license

Primary Responsibilities:

• Observe and report behavior of clients, visitors, and other people near or in our facilities.
• Patrol interior Multiple floors, all departments, parking lots for unauthorized vehicles, all exterior doors
• Document activities and incidents daily/ Report writing.
• Call police or fire department in case of an emergency
• Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property
• Respond to reports from staff of incidents
• Possibly provide first aid/CPR assistance for staff/clients in emergency situations, if certified
• Answer questions from visitors, clients, and community members
• Other duties as assigned.
