ONE Security Company (OSC) is conducting immediate interviews to fill an open, Full-time, OVERNIGHT Security Professional position at a location in Roseburg, Oregon. Available shifts are Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and every other Monday from 6pm to 6am. For transparency, the interview process involves a screening phone call (10 min) and a virtual interview with the hiring manager.

JOB SUMMARY

• Supports location employees. Watches for suspicious and irregular behavior at site, such as security concerns, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations; contact emergency responders, such as police, fire, and/or ambulance personnel as required.
• Provide Superior Customer Service; A "People Person", enthusiastic and friendly
• Remains alert for the presence of unauthorized persons and/or security code violators; approaches suspicious person and/or notifies police as appropriate; may confront and detain violators, as required, until police arrive.
• Completes digital standardized reports.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

JOB SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to communicate effectively with others both orally and in writing.
• Basic knowledge of computers.
• Ability to walk and climb stairs.
• Ability to see and hear accurately in both day and nighttime conditions.
• Ability to understand and apply company policies, procedures, concepts and to be able to respond using discretion and interpretive judgment based on general and specific policies.
• Ability to retain knowledge, information, and directions on an ongoing basis and communicate effectively with others.
• Ability to maintain detailed reports and complete them in a timely manner.
• Ability to apply common sense, training while safely handling emergency situations.
• Knowledge of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid (Training Provided if needed)
• Ability to learn the layout of the site and specific areas assigned.
• Skills in operating portable radio devices and phones.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Free from felony convictions and ability to earn a DPSST security guard license. One Security pays for all training and licensing and walks you through the process.
