Schedule:
Thursday & Friday | 12AM-8AM Saturday & Sunday | 4AM-4PM
Pay:
$16.32 per hour
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking alert, reliable, and professional Unarmed Security Officers to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, clients, residents, and visitors. This position involves patrolling assigned areas, monitoring activity, deterring criminal or unsafe behavior, and providing exceptional customer service. Security Officers are expected to be observant, approachable, and able to respond to situations calmly and effectively. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong communication skills, situational awareness, and a high level of professionalism at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular patrols of interior and exterior areas to ensure safety and security. Monitor entrances, exits, parking lots, and restricted areas to prevent unauthorized access. Observe and report suspicious behavior, potential hazards, and safety violations. Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents in accordance with site procedures. Provide assistance to employees, guests, and visitors as needed. Prepare detailed and accurate daily activity, incident, and shift reports. Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and law enforcement when necessary. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while on duty. Follow post orders and company policies with precision and integrity. Remain alert and attentive during all assigned shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or customer service preferred but not required. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong observation and problem-solving abilities. Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure. Must be physically able to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods and respond quickly in emergencies. Reliable transportation and punctual attendance are required.
