You will be the first line of defense, ensuring a safe environment through active surveillance, effective conflict management, and adherence to safety protocols. Duties Monitor premises using CCTV systems and conduct regular surveillance to detect suspicious activity or security breaches Control access points by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors Respond swiftly to incidents or emergencies by implementing conflict management techniques and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed Conduct routine patrols of the facility's interior and exterior areas to identify hazards or security vulnerabilities Provide first aid in emergency situations until professional help arrives Enforce loss prevention policies by observing for theft or vandalism and taking appropriate action Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping Skills Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques including CCTV operation and monitoring systems Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure Basic first aid to respond effectively during emergencies Experience or background in law enforcement, military service, or security operations is highly desirable Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and decisiveness Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and security protocols Effective communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members and emergency responders
