Job Description
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- The identification and removal of any individual who is required to be excluded or ejected from the licensed facility under section 1514 of the act, who may be excluded or ejected from the licensed facility under section 1515 of the act or is self-excluded from the gaming floor and gaming activities at all licensed facilities under section 1516 of the act
- The provision of immediate notice to supervisors designated in the internal controls and the casino compliance representatives and the Pennsylvania State Police at the licensed facility upon detecting any individual who is required to be excluded or ejected from the licensed facility under section 1514 or 1515 of the act and Chapter 511a or 513a or is self-excluded from the gaming floor and gaming activities at all licensed facilities under section 1516 of the act and Chapter 503a •Responsible for completing annual Anti-Money Laundering/Title 31 training •Responsible for assisting the Security & Facilities Manager with hiring, interviewing and organizing training to maintain adequate staffing.
- Produce reports and/or spreadsheets of Security activities
- Supervises the Security employees that have a direct report to this position
- Assist with Security Officer duties and responsibilities when necessary
- Working knowledge of CMS system including but not limited to the following: Cage, Pit, Credit, Marketing, Players Club, Player Tracking menus and Self-Exclusion display
- Responsible for observation and evaluation of possibly intoxicated guests
- Responsible for removing possibly intoxicated guests from property, using all resources available to ensure that the possibly intoxicated guest does not drive off property
- In the absence of the Security & Facilities Manager, the Security Supervisor assumes overall command and control of the emergency response procedures, including response drills and evacuations
- Ensures guests are not departing the property impaired by alcohol
- Supervises Valet employees in the absence of the Valet/Transaction Supervisor
- Review staffing levels while maintaining and controlling costs on a daily basis reflective of business levels to ensure maximum guest satisfaction
- Responsible for the supervision and performance of the valet and transportation staff, coaching and counseling as needed to ensure exemplary service
- Responsible for the time-keeping, payroll, and staffing levels of the department
- Knowledge of federal, state, local government, and gaming laws including OSHA regulations as applicable
- Any other assigned duties and responsibilities.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF EXPERIENCE OR EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a high volume business or industry, preferably in the hospitality business
- Must be able to receive and maintain all required certification
- Must complete all required company training
