As a Security Officer Patrol in Jonestown, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through clear communication and customer service while documenting activities using computer or tablet tools. Full Time Pay Rate:
$18.50 / Hour Access Control/Badge Experience (B201) Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges for employees and visitors. Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204) Candidates must be proficient in using computers or tablets for daily tasks. This includes navigating software applications, managing emails, and utilizing online tools effectively. Customer Service Experience (B219) Candidates should possess a background in customer service, showcasing their ability to interact positively with clients and resolve issues efficiently. Experience in handling customer inquiries and providing support is essential.

AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, perimeter, and other assigned locations to help identify unusual activity and support site operations. Monitor entrances, exits, and vehicle traffic; verify authorized access as directed by site policies; and document visitor, driver, and delivery activity. Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
